Join us Saturday June 13th, as DCDP walks in the Juneteenth Parade!
Line up begins at 9am at 24th and Lake. Parade starts at 10am. Please park at the Salem Baptist Church.
HELP US GROW OUR DIGITAL REACH
The DCDP Social Media Team has been working hard to keep our supporters informed through Facebook, Instagram, and X. We're also expanding our digital outreach through YouTube, TikTok, and our growing Video Team.
We're looking for volunteers who can:
• Help post content one day a week on social media
• Record videos at events, meetings, and community activities
• Assist with creating content for YouTube and TikTok
If any of these opportunities interest you, please reach out. Even a small amount of time can have a big impact.
POG Recording Session

Lynne Walz For Nebraska Governor
Come meet Lynne Walz, candidate for Nebraska Governor. Lynne is a proven leader who believes in growing our economy, strengthening our schools, and creating a brighter future for Nebraska. She served two terms as a state senator in the Nebraska Legislature, representing District 15 from 2017 until she was term-limited in January 2025. Lynne is ready to be Nebraska's Governor.
Feel free to pass this invitation on to others who might be interested in learning more about Lynne Walz, or anyone who would like to help us work to restore integrity to the Nebraska Governor's office, by electing Lynne Walz as Nebraska's next governor.

Steeped in a legacy of classical and Black secular and sacred music, veteran Omaha vocalist Carole Jeanpierre is making an audacious long-form composing debut with “Noalia: An Opera of Love.”
As a Black opera, it’s a rare entry in the repertory. Even more rare is her having written both the libretto and score. She’s the opera’s designer, director and producer as well. Friday, August 14th. Doors open at 7pm, show starts at 7:30pm.
The Impact Alliance Leadership Conference - DATE TO BE ANNOUNCED.
Hosted at Creighton University (Rigge Science Building), this convening is designed to move from awareness to action - bringing together leaders across sectors to define actionable strategies, policy priorities, and collaborative frameworks for sustained community advancement.
